Donald W. “Don” Bebow, 83, of Oakfield, passed away peacefully at his home in Lamartine surrounded by his family and loved ones, Monday, April 26, 2021. He was born in Fond du Lac March 6, 1938 to Darrel and Okla (Webster) Bebow. Don was a graduate of Brandon High School. On April 28, 1961, he married Nancy Lou James in Oshkosh. She preceded him in death on May 4, 2018.
Don loved his family; his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, hunting, and taking care of many animals over the years. Don worked for Medalist Industries of Fond du Lac and retired as Vice-President of Manufacturing for Admanco of Ripon. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was stationed in Ethiopia.
Survivors include his three children, Jayne (Dean) Perlick of Oakfield, William “Bill” (Lucy) Bebow of Fond du Lac, and Cherie Schwartz (Marc) of Shawano; daughter-in-law, Lisa Bebow of Fond du Lac; eleven grandchildren, Dane, Dillon, Angela, Jesse, Jenny, Laura, Brittany, Cody, Anthony, Kaden, and Kenzie; ten great-grandchildren, Jordan, Rylee, Seth, Jayden, Lily, Clayton, Colton, Lana, Romy and Jackson; sister, Janet (Richard) Zehren of Fond du Lac; and his brother, Charles (Connie) Bebow of Oakfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a son, Steven Bebow.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Friday, April 30, 2021 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM. Masks are recommended while in attendance. Burial in Lamartine Cemetery will follow with Military Funeral Honors being presented by the U.S. Army.
