Donna C. Jaeger

Donna C. Jaeger, 67, of 182 E. Rees Street, died Monday, September 13, 2010, at her residence. She was born November 28, 1942, in Bismarck, ND, the daughter of Donald and Isabel Zweiful Crane. In 1949, she moved with her family to Marquette, MI where she graduated from Bishop Baraga High School. She later graduated from North Michigan University. Donna moved to Fond du Lac in 1969. She married William Jaeger on May 12, 1979 at Church of The Presentation in North Fond du Lac. She held several retail sales positions and then was employed by the Fond du Lac Library until her retirement in 2009. She was an avid shopper, quilter, and seamstress. Her nieces and nephews were often the recipients of her beautiful creations. Surviving is her husband, William, two sisters, Doreen (Dennis) Takalo of Skandia, MI and Sharon (Ron) Rule of Marquette, MI, nieces Stefanie (Todd) Burke of Jacksonport, WI, and Tammie (Kevin) Blaney of Neenah, WI, nephews Tim (Lynda) Takalo of Gwinn, MI, Derrick Takalo of Skandia, MI, Jason (Deanna) DeVooght of Freedom, WI, and David (Heather) DeVooght of Valders, WI. Great nieces and nephews, her mother-in-law, Clare Jaeger of North Fond du Lac, an uncle, Roland Crane of Vancouver, WA, and favorite cousins, Gary, Ben, and Audrey Klein, all of Marquette, MI, further survive her. Her parents and father-in-law, Sylvester Jaeger, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Donna C. Jaeger will be on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, from 4 to 7 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Liturgy of The Word for Christian Burial services will be at 7 PM at the funeral home on Wednesday. Deacon Larry Hughes will officiate and cremation will follow traditional services.
