Donna J. Schultz

Donna J. Schultz, 60, of Oshkosh, died Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Hospice Home of Hope, Fond du Lac after a one year battle with brain cancer. She was born April 26, 1953 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Frank and Olive "June" Kraft Heisler. She was a 1971 graduate of L.P. Goodrich High School. On June 3, 1972 she married Daniel C. Schultz at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fond du Lac. She earned her BSN from Marian College in 1994 with high honors. Donna worked over ten years for Affinity Medical Group in Appleton as a cardiology nurse. She was a charter member of Sacred Heart Church. Donna enjoyed reading, vacationing in Florida and was devoted to her family and was deeply proud of her children and grandchildren.She is survived by her husband, Daniel; two children, Jason (Beth) Schultz, Fond du Lac and Julie (Matt) Schwartz, North Fond du Lac; four grandsons, Logan and Luke Schwartz, Cole and Marcus Schultz; her mother, June Heisler, Fond du Lac; two brothers, Jerry (Deb) Heisler, Oshkosh and Wayne (Lori) Heisler, Fond du Lac; her twin sister, Debbie Bruflat, Fond du Lac; her life-long friend, Kathy Seymour, Adams Friendship. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank.



The visitation will take place from 4:00 "“ 8:00 PM on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Thursday from 9:30 "“ 10:30 AM at church. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Sacred Heart Church, Holy Family Parish. Cremation will follow the traditional services and inurnment will take place in Calvary Cemetery at a later date.The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Baskaya of U.W. Hospital Madison, Dr. Vander Kooy and Dr. Jones of Central Wisconsin Cancer Center, and the staff and volunteers at Agnesian Hospice Home of Hope. Also a special thank you to her loving neighbors, Jerry and Helen Luessow and her sister-in-law, Sandi Gutjahr for their care given to Donna while she was home.A memorial will be established in Donna's name.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
