Donna L. Rau

DONNA L. RAUDonna L. Rau, 74, formerly of Fond du Lac and a current resident of Harris Villa in Westfield, WI, died Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at St. Michael's Hospital, Stevens Point. She was born February 3, 1933 in Plainfield, WI the daughter of Loren and Frances Miller Hetzel. On December 26, 1959 she married John M. Rau in Prairie du Chien and he preceded her in death on November 14, 1996. Donna was employed with the Fond du Lac School District until her retirement in 1979. She was a member of the Fond du Lac Eagles Aerie #270, the Red Hat Society, and the West Side Senior Coalition/Outreach Program in Middleton, WI. She enjoyed painting, musical entertainment and loved doing crossword puzzles. Donna enjoyed people; she touched the hearts of many.SURVIVIORS: four daughters, Karen (Raymond) Moss, Jackson, NJ, Donna "Lynn" Johnson, Madison, WI, Patricia (Thomas) Dreier, Stevens Point, WI, Barbara Kollmansberger, Eden, WI; six grandchildren, Daniel Johnson, Spencer Johnson, Hollie Kollmansberger, Bradley Kollmansberger, John Moss, and Hannah Moss; one sister, Patricia Bernhardt, Manitowoc, WI; one brother, Loren "Bo" (Patricia) Hetzel, Ripon, WI; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Baby John Rau, Jr. and one granddaughter, April Dreier.



VISITATION: will be from 4 "“ 7 PM on Friday, October 19, 2007 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Saturday from 9 AM until the service at the funeral home. The funeral will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at the funeral home with Rev. Chuck Fluegel officiating. Burial will follow in Rienzi Cemetery.In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in Donna's name.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
