Throughout her life Donna worked at Infant Socks, Red Owl, Kentron, Boulay’s, Seefeld’s, Custom Fabrican, and Community Alterations.
Donna was a great wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend to all. She was always there to lend a hand through the years caring for her nieces and nephews countless times as well as many other family and friends. She was that kind of person you could always count on to help you out when in need. Donna was a natural caregiver. Donna always loved painting ceramics and making crafts. She passed this hobby onto a few of her family members as well as her grandson. In Donna’s free time, you would find her with her nose in a book. She loved to read. Donna was an avid bowler and also enjoyed gambling. Donna always looked forward to Thursday lunches with her family.
Surviving Donna is her husband, Keith; son, Jerry; grandsons, Logan and Mason; siblings, Gary (Donna) Charneski, Donald Charneski (special friend, Nancy), Carol (Roger) Reitz, Jacalyn (Gerald) King, John (Valerie) Charneski, Mark (Amy) Charneski, Wayne Rose, Karen (Keith) Rupp; special niece and caregiver, Tonia Miske; godchildren, Sara Charneski, Katie Charneski, and Trevor Miske; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Gary; her parents; her mother-and-father-in-law, LaVerne and Jean Melius; sisters-in-law, Mary Charneski and Marlene Rose; and brother-in-law, Doug Melius.

Donna spent the last weeks of her life at HCR ManorCare. Thank you for the superb compassionate care provided to Donna in her final days. We would also like to thank the Heartland Hospice Team as well.
