Mrs. Donna M. Rivers (Neubauer), loving mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, age 75, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2005, at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac. She was born on December 5, 1929, in the Town of Redgranite, Waushara County, the daughter of Ernest and Lina (Crump) Neubauer. Donna grew up on the family farm west of Berlin, in the Town of Warren. She attended Cloverview Grade School, worked at Berlin Hospital during High School, and also worked for Dr. Stimpson in Poysippi. On June 25, 1949, she married Ervin Rivers and raised seven children on a farm outside of Princeton until 1973. Donna went to work for the Ripon Foundry until 1982, and in 2000, she retired from the Parkview Nursing Home after 18 years of service. Never completely retired, she helped many friends clean houses, enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and loved watching the Packers.Donna is survived by three daughters, Patsy (Tim) Hill of Princeton, Candis (Bill) Austin of Phoenix, AZ, and Lorrie (Randy) Kleenlance of Oshkosh, four sons, James (Faye) Rivers of Prineton, Keith (Rachel) Rivers of Oshkosh, Terry Rivers of Plymouth, and Jeffery (Karen) Rivers of Wild Rose, and a sister, Jeanette Stemler of Berlin. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Donna (Andy) Derengowski of Princeton, Edward (Rachel) Lambert of Princeton, Carrie (Matt) Cummings of Baraboo, Joel Ferch of Princeton, Ashley and Benjamin Rivers of Oshkosh, Kaylee and Dyllan Rivers of Wild Rose, and two great grandchildren, Aaron King of Baraboo and Zachary Lambert of Princeton; along with many special friends. Her parents, an infant brother, Reid Neubauer, and a sister, Beverly Malson, preceded Donna in death
By Donna's wishes, a private family burial following cremation will be celebrated at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Hospice Home of Hope, 400 County Road K, Fond du Lac, WI 54935. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
