Doris J. Kemnetz

Doris J. Kemnetz, 76, died Saturday, May 7, 2022, at The Manor of Fond du Lac. She was born in South Bend, Indiana on June 30, 1945, to Dwight and Virginia (Kruk) Zolman.



Doris was a single parent to her only child, Dawn. She loved animals, and especially enjoyed bird watching. Doris was quite content at home and was known to be both sassy and spunky.



Survivors include her daughter, Dawn (Joseph) Pray; her life partner of over thirty years, Greg Schwartz; three granddaughters, Danielle, Melina, and Kylie; Greg’s daughter, Katie Shea and her daughter, Rylee; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Linda Stoner (Bob Clark), her twin, Donna (William) Donovan, and Gail Ghiloni; five nieces; and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Merle (Earl) Werner; brother-in-law, Tom Ghiloni; and a nephew, Jonathon Becker.



Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Friday, May 13, 2022, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow, beginning at 1:00 PM. A private family entombment at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery will follow the service.
