Doris J. Van Airsdale

Doris J. Van Airsdale, 82, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Liberty House. She was born June 10, 1935 in Adams, WI, the daughter of Orrin and Alma Stampflee Hammond. Doris worked as a Registered Nurse. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and her dog, Patches.



She is survived by her daughter, Denise (Matthew) Mundt of Fond du Lac; three grandchildren, Jesse (Stacey) James, Kory James, and Justin Klebs; three brothers, Jack (Shirley) McChesney of Beaver Creek, OH, Gary McChesney of Wautoma, and Scott (Darlene) McChesney of Almond, WI; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, David Van Airsdale and Duane Van Airsdale; brothers, Larry McChesney and Robert McChesney; and her sister, Mary McChesney.



The visitation will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Gould Rock Cemetery, Grand Marsh, WI.
