Doris M. Wild

Doris M. Wild, 70, of W8275 Lincoln Avenue, Town of Lamartine, died Thursday, April 23, 2009, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born June 17, 1938, in Ashford, WI, the daughter of Henry T. and Ottilia Z. Zehren Hinkes. On September 19, 1959, she married Raymond J. Wild at St. Martin's Church in Ashford. He preceded her in death on March 13, 2000. Doris was a graduate of Campbellsport High School. She was formerly employed by the Action Advertiser as a dispatcher for 15 years, and spent her semi-retirment employed by Valley Marketing. She enjoyed bowling for many years with the Women's League at Karl-Ray Lane. In her younger years, she played guitar and the French horn. Surviving are two sons, Dean (Julie) Wild of Brownsville, and Duane (Martina Hilbrans) Wild of Fond du Lac, a grandson, Andrew Clae Wild of Fond du Lac, a granddaughter, Christina Hilbrans of Fond du Lac, a sister-in-law, Irene (Elmer) Schlefke of Oakfield, and her cat, Walter. Her parents, husband, and a granddaughter, Danielle Rae Bartzen, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Doris M. Wild will be on Monday, April 27, 2009, from 4 to 7 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word for Christian Burial services will be on Monday, the 27th at 7 PM. Deacon Larry Hughes will officiate and entombment of cremated remains will be in the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery at a later time. The family requests that memorials be directed to the Fond du Lac Humane Society, the World Wildlife Foundation, or the Breast Cancer Foundation.
