Dorothy A. Lamue

Dorothy Ann LaMue died Monday, November 10, 2014 at Manor Care Health Services.

She was born April 14, 1920 in Berlin, the daughter of George and Katherine Czecholinski Huskey. She married the love of her life, John Charles LaMue on August 7, 1948. Religion was a very important part of their lives and they were very active at St. Joseph’s Church and in the Knights of Columbus; she in the Ladies Auxiliary Club and her husband involved in the 4th Degree. Dorothy was currently a member of Holy Family Parish. They loved the social activities and travels the club afforded them. They were married for over 60 years. She also enjoyed baking for the holidays and was an excellent cook and loved her dogs.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Nancy, husband (William Sawyer) and two granddaughters, Courtney of Milwaukee, and Ashley of Fond du Lac, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her sister, Lucille Schmidt of Fond du Lac, one brother, Roman (Mary Ann) of Alaska and one sister-in-law, Dorothy Huskey of Fond du Lac. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, John, in February 22, 2010, five brothers: Clarence, Ralph, Leonard, Arden and James, and two sisters Josephine and Eleanor.

VISITATION: Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 4-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Committal Service will take place on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11:30 A.M. at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
