DOROTHY E. CHRISTIEDorothy E. Christie, age 85, of 69 W. Arndt St, Fond du Lac, was born to eternal peace on July 22, 2005 at the home of Dianne and Wayne Strehlow. She was born on December 18, 1919 the daughter of William and Caroline (Asmus) Krenn. On February 5, 1938 she married Orville Christie. They lived all of their married life in Fond du Lac. They had four children, three daughters and one son.SURVIVORS: four children, Charlotte (Charles) Gray, Dianne (Wayne) Strehlow, Carolyn (Charles) Schwebke, and Bruce (Becky) Christie, she is further survived by eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, one sister, Betty Schrage, one brother, William Krenn and his wife Pat, one brother in law, Don Christie, two sisters in law, Bernice Karls and Rosemary Christie. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Orville, three brothers, Raymond, Robert, and Melvin.



VISITATION: Monday, July 25, 2005 from 4-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Monday July 25, 2005 at 7:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with the Reverend Bill Janisch officiating. Private family entombment will take place on Tuesday at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, and doing ceramics. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a zest for life. She enjoyed people, and people enjoyed her. Dorothy will be deeply missed by everyone who's life she touched. Dorothy made and donated a ceramic stein collection to the Galloway House in Fond du Lac.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
