Dorothy E. MooreDorothy E. Moore, 84, formerly of Portland Square, died Saturday, January 1, 2005, at the Hospice Home of Hope. She was born March 14, 1920, in North Fond du Lac, a daughter of Gustav and Gertrude North Saltzwadel. On December 15, 1938, she married Thomas J. Moore. He preceded her in death on September 28, 1996. Mrs. Moore was a lifelong resident of the North Fond du Lac area, and had belonged to Community United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She enjoyed knitting and bowling in her younger years, and liked playing sheepshead with her family. Surviving are two daughters, Cathy (Glenn) Gogin and Mary (Special Friend Larry Bonack) Moore all of Fond du Lac, three sons, Michael (Susan) Moore of Rosendale, Thomas (Candy) Moore, Jr. of Milwaukee, and James (Nancy) Moore of North Fond du Lac, eleven grandchildren, Susan (Mark) Lemke, Jeff (Mary) Moore, Kristine (Scott) Wood, Scott Moore, Yvette (Terry) Mentz, Christopher (Kelly Lund) Moore, Jason (Missy) Now, Brian Now, Laura Now, Maggie Gogin, and Steven (Janet) Adlam, twelve great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Ruth (Roman) Stephany, and Evelyn (Melvin) Totzke, all of Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant son, Patrick Scott, two grandchildren, Emily Susan and Mark Moore, one great-granddaughter, Emily Sue Moore, three brothers, Arthur, Harold, and Donald Saltzwadel, and three sisters, Myrtle Fellrath, Melverna Hanke, and Carol Saltzwadel.



Visitation for Mrs. Dorothy E. Moore will be on Tuesday, January 4, 2005, from 3 to 7:30 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at 7:30 pm at the funeral home. The Rev. Hyu-Jae Lee will officiate. Private family committal services will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery on Wednesday. Additional information and guest book may be found at www.ueckerwitt.com
