Dorothy J. Sharp

Dorothy J. Sharp, 84, a resident of the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home since 2009 and a Milwaukee resident, died Monday, November 04, 2013. She was born December 9, 1928, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Owen R. and Ida M. Pinski O'Neill. On June 5, 1954, she married Homer James. "Jim" Sharp at Ascension Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. Dorothy started teaching in the Milwaukee Public School system in 1954, and retired in 1986. She and her husband moved to Fond du Lac in 2009. Surviving is her husband, Homer James "Jim" Sharp of Fond du Lac, two daughters, Patricia Kindt of Milwaukee, and Barbara (Randy) Entringer of Fond du Lac, four grandchildren, Stephanie Kostecki, Mark Entringer, Sarah (William) Atchison, and Katie Entringer, and two great-grandchildren, Grace and Evelyn Atchison. Her parents preceded her in death.



Visitation for Dorothy J. Sharp will be on Friday, November 8, 2013, from 3 to 4:30 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 4:30 PM at the funeral home. Rev. Dean DeSilet will officiate and burial will be in Highland Memorial Park at a later date. The family requests that memorials be direct to the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home, 244 N.
