Dorothy M. Rieden

Dorothy M. Rieden, age 91, of Mt. Calvary, died Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Villa Loretto Nursing Home. She was born on December 6, 1923 in the Town of Forest, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Wirtz) Rieden. Dorothy has been a Mt. Calvary resident since the age of five. She worked on the family farm. She loved her polka music and the simple farm life. A hard working woman who raised chickens, sold the eggs, and always had a positive attitude despite being confined to a wheelchair in later years. She really appreciated everyone at the Villa.

SURVIVORS: three nephews, Jim Rieden of St. Cloud, John Rieden of VA, and Steven Rieden of Mt. Calvary; seven great nieces and nephews; one sister in law, Patricia Rieden of Mt. Calvary. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Harvey.

VISITATION: Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 9-11 A.M. at Holy Cross Church-St. Isidore Parish, 308 S. County W, Mt. Calvary, WI, 53057. FUNERAL: Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the church with the Rev. Gary Wegner officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment will follow the service at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mt. Calvary.
