Dorothy M. Sennett

Dorothy M. Sennett, age 77, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 28, 2022 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. She was born August 14, 1945 in McAlester Oklahoma, to Jesse and Esther (Preston) Porter. She stayed around McAlester and went onto marry E.L. Sennett J.R. in 1962 and had four beautiful children. She spent her younger years working in healthcare and raising the kids. Dorothy truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, snacking, watching old country music shows and spending time with her grandkids. Dorothy will be remembered as caring and compassionate. She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.

She is survived by her children, Arlan Sennett, Sherry Crenshaw, Rhonda Hicks, and Harlan Sennett; grandchildren, Rachel Morrison, Arlan Jr Sennett, Shelby Sennett, Heath Hall, Jeffery Short, Justin Short, Gary Dewayne Hicks, Bobby Hicks, Cheyenne Sennett, and Weston Earl Sennett; and great grandchildren, Mason Stephens, Brycelynn Morrison, Levi Morrison, Neveah Browning, Timber Short, Scout Short, Jettson Short, Greyson Short, and Zachary Hicks.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband E.L.; her parents, Jesse and Esther; her siblings, Jessie Alexander "A.J.", Angie, Robert, and Allen Porter.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in McAlester.
