Dorothy R. Christensen

Dorothy R. Christensen, 93, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born April 4, 1918 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Thomas and Nellie Atkins Christensen. She worked at Job Service for 43 years retiring in 1983. Dorothy was a member of Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church for over 80 years. She enjoyed traveling, visual arts, oil and watercolor painting. Dorothy is survived by those close to her, Carl Kimpel, Jennifer Lefeber, Marge "Aunt" Frank, Heidi West, Dorothy's dog, Comet, and other friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.



VISITATION: will be held Friday, November 11, 2011 from 11:00 AM "“ 1:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Rev. Shari Routh officiating.
