Dorothy Virginia Sadenwasser left this world to join her Savior on June 16, 2012.She found peace in the arms of her Savior. She was born on September 6, 1928 in Tigerton, WI the daughter of Fred and Lydia Schubring Miller. Dorothy graduated from Tigerton High School in 1946 and entered Milwaukee Hospital School of Nursing in August of 1946 and completed herStudies in 1949.She chose the operating room as her first love. While in Milwaukee, she started classes to obtain a BS in Nursing. To complete a degree required a move to Madison. While attending classes she worked the polio ward at University Hospitals. She completed her degree and returned to Milwaukee Hospital as operating room supervisor. She spent the final years of her nursing career in the operating room at St. Agnes Hospital. On July 9, 1960, she married Glen C. Sadenwasser of East Troy, WI at St. John's Lutheran Church in Wittenberg, WI. The marriage was blessed with two daughters, Susan Renee and Karen Beth. She enjoyed sewing, often creating six matching outfits for Christmas. Flowers and gardening kept her busy in the summer months. Dorothy was a member of Hope Lutheran Church.She is survived by her loving daughter Karen (Matthew) Rudolph of Neenah, WI and son-in-law Pastor Ethan Steinbrenner of Fort Atkinson, WI. She is further survived by nine grandchildren, Warren, Andrea, Rachel (Luke) Beilke, Alyssa, Laura and Joseph Steinbrenner and Abigail, Elizabeth, Kathryn Rudolph. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents,husband Glen Sadenwasser, a daughter Susan Steinbrenner, a brother Marvin Miller.
VISITATION: Friends may call on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 4 to 6 PM at Hope Lutheran Church, 271 Vincent Street, Fond du Lac, WI. FUNERAL: Memorial services will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 6:00 PM at Hope Lutheran Church with Reverend Jon Christensen officiating. Cremation has taken place.In lieu of flowers, memorials can be designated to the Scholarship Fund at Hope Lutheran Church.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
