Duane K. VanAirsdale, 50, of 521 Forest Avenue, Fond du Lac, was carried on angel's wings to our Lord, Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at St. Agnes Hospital after a lengthy illness. The Lord blessed us with his life on October 17, 1960 in Fond du Lac, the son of Bernie and Doris Hammond VanAirsdale. He attended schools in Fond du Lac, Lomira and Oakfield. He was employed for many years for Dufrane Moving of Fond du Lac, Field Brothers of Iowa, and later Barens Moving of Milwuakee until his illness. Duane enjoyed is dogs, cats and many friends. He helped anyone in need in any way he could. According to Duane, his record moves was moving Chandra Millay 5 or 6 times to different towns. His past interests included spending time with his best friend, his mother, Doris, hunting, fishing, and camping with special friends, Cheryl Millay, Bob Lefeber and other close friends.Duane will be sadly missed by his mother, Doris, Fond du Lac; his son, Justin Klebs, Fond du Lac; his grandmother, Alma McChesney, Plainfield; and other relatives and many friends. He was greeted in Heaven by his father, Bernie; his grandparents, John McChesney, Kenneth and Clara VanAirsdale; his uncle, Smokie; and other uncles.
VISITATION: will be from 5 "“ 7 PM on Monday, May 9, 2011 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A pray service will be held at 7 PM on Monday, May 9, 2011 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to his mother, Doris.Dying did not come easy, his struggles were many, but the Lord knew he was in pain and needed his rest, it was time to go home.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
