Dustin A. Steger

Dustin A. Steger, 38, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, May 25, 2017 at his residence. He was born August 11, 1978 in Fond du Lac, the son of Mark and Sharon Schreiner Steger. Dustin graduated in the Class of 1997 from Goodrich High School and received an Associate Degree graduating with honors from Nashville Auto Diesel College in Nashville, TN. On June 11, 2011 he married Elizabeth A. Morehead in Fond du Lac. Dustin had worked for Society Insurance for over 10 years. He enjoyed cars and motorcycles, cooking, trying new things, traveling, and loved being with family and friends. Dustin was very mechanical and could repair anything. Dustin’s world was his son, Colin and wife, Elizabeth and he cherished every memory with them.



He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his son, Colin; his mother, Sharon (Richard) Majewski of Fond du Lac; his father, Mark (Sharon) Steger of Fond du Lac; paternal grandfather, Elmer Steger of Carson City, NV; step brother, Adam Majewski of Milwaukee; mother-in-law, Kelly (Jeff) Hagen of Howards Grove; father-in-law, Terry Morehead of Seabeck, WA; brother-in-law, Sam Morehead of Sheboygan; step brother-in-law, Troy (Amy) Hagen of Lawrence, KS. He is further survived by aunts, Sandy (Pat Roch) Schreiner of Neenah and Laurie Larsson of Hot Springs, AR; uncle, Bruce (Barbara) Steger of Lake Tahoe, NV; cousin, Erik Larsson of Milwaukee; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Allen and Ruby Schreiner; paternal grandmother, Jeanette Steger; and cousins, Eliot Steger and Martin Steger.



The visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.



In lieu of flowers donations in Dustin’s memory can be made for his son, Colin’s education fund.
