Ed Reid

ED REIDEd Reid, age 89, of 306 County Park Rd, Waupun, died Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at University of Wisconsin Hospitals, Madison. He was born on April 5, 1916 in El Paso, IL the son of Charles and Maude Lewis Reid. On November 22, 1952 he married Marjorie R. von Rohr in Evanston, IL. Ed served in the United States Army as a medic until a medical discharge. He worked for AC Nielsen for thirty-eight years retiring in 1980. Ed was an avid golfer and he enjoyed bowling.SURVIVORS: his wife, Marjorie of Waupun, two daughters, Linda (Jim) Weidman of Billings, MT, Susan (Paul) Huizenga of Alto, three sons, Thomas Reid of Burlington, WI, Bill (Christine) Reid of Fond du Lac, John Reid of Las Vegas, NV, grandchildren, Tom Long, Jenna Weidman, Chris (Chad) Flier, Carey Hill, Jesse and Erin Huizenga, Dylan Reid, Shana Strehlow, and Ryne and Tony Reid, three great-grandchildren, Jaycy, Sydney, and Taylor, brothers in law, John (Marion) von Rohr, Dan Redlin, and Norm Nehmer, sister in law, Laura (Rich) Lee, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, two brothers, and one sister in law.



VISITATION: Sunday, June 26, 2005 from 2-4 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Sunday, June 26, 2005 at 4:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Deacon Ricardo Munoz officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional services. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
