Edna E. Brown

Edna E. Brown, formerly of Eden, passed on to eternal life on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at All About Life Rehabilitation Center in Fond du Lac where she had been a resident for the past seven years. She was born April 29, 1917, the daughter of Fred and Meta Viergutz Erdmann in the Town of Stettin in Marathon County, Wisconsin. She married Henry A. Brown on June 20, 1937 in Green Bay. He preceded her in death on July 22, 1962. Three sisters, four brothers and a stepson, Reuben Brown, also preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Lois (Victor) Jewson, a son, Fred (Bonnie) Brown, four grandchildren, Will (Diana) Jewson, Peter (Sheryl) Jewson, Korinne (Keith) Hejhal, and Jonathan Brown. Also surviving are great-grandchildren, James & Paul Jewson; a step-daughter, Dorothy (Earl) Reitz; four step-sons, Donald (Ruth) Brown, Henry (Jane) Brown of Fond du Lac, Orville (Janie) Brown of Texas and Franklin Brown of Michigan. Two sisters, Arletta Erdman and Eleanor Leiterman of Wausau and two sisters-in-law, Loretta and Sadie Erdmann, further survive her and many step grandchildren and great, great step grandchildren. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac.



Visitation for Mrs. Edna E. Brown will be on Friday, February 12, 2010, from 12:30 to 2 pm at Hope Lutheran Church, 260 Vincent Street, Fond du Lac. Funeral services will be at 2 pm at the church on Friday. The Rev. Steven Huff will officiate and burial will be in Rienzi Cemetery. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
