Edna M. Resop

Edna M. Resop, 83, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Sterling House, Fond du Lac. She was born December 19, 1925 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of James O. and Martha A. Dickinson Miller. On December 29, 1945 she married Donald J. Resop, Sr. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, and he preceded her in death on January 1, 1988. Edna was a member of Holy Family Parish, Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed doing crafts, especially painting on velvet, cooking, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.SURVIVORS: three children, Thomas (Dianne) Miller, Fond du Lac, Margaret (Charles) Vores, Fond du Lac, Donald (Terri) Resop, Fond du Lac; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; three sisters, Eleanore Pflum, Fond du Lac, Lola Shady, Waupun, Virginia (Wattamar) Reimer, Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald; one son, David; one infant grandson; four brothers, Orville, Herman, Martin, and Virgil Miller.



VISITATION: will be held from 2 - 4 PM on Friday, June 12, 2009 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 4 PM on Friday, June 12, 2009 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the traditional services and burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
