Edwin "Eddie" " D. Schuelke

Edwin "Eddie" D. Schuelke, 61, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, February 8, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 27, 1953 in Elmhurst, IL the son of Lawrence and Edna (Guill) Schuelke, Sr.. Eddie was a loving father, brother, uncle and friend. He served our country and defended our freedom in the U.S. Army. In his life, he accomplished many things, from working on the Milwaukee Road and Wisconsin Central Railroads to being a business owner of Windy City Hot Dogs. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, being an avid football and baseball fan and he loved to cook. The most important thing in Eddie's life were his three sons; Patrick, Travis and Cole. Eddie leaves behind his three sons; Patrick "Pat", Travis, Cole (girlfriend Stephanie Galle) all of Fond du Lac, his ex-wife, Helen Zabinski, his girlfriend, Jamie Andre and her son, Christian, three brothers; David (Celeste) Schuelke, Lawrence Schuelke, Jr., and Thomas Schuelke, two sisters; Lois Jorgenson and Joyce (Buck) Wiese, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and a nephew, Michael Smith.



A visitation for Eddie will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 10-1 PM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave., in Fond du Lac. Funeral will follow the visitation at 1 PM with the Rev. Paul Pfeffer officiating. Military Honors will be presented by American Legion Trier- Puddy Post #75. Burial will be at Little Creek Cemetery, Symco, WI at a later date. In conjunction with the services for Eddie, a benefit hosted by his son, Pat, will begin at 11:30 AM across the street from the Funeral Home at the Eagles Club. All are invited to attend.
