Eileen D. Secor, 90, formerly of 354 Bank Street, and currently a resident of Grancare Nursing Home since July of this year died on Monday, October 11, 2010. She was born July 7, 1920, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of John and Mae Carty Secor. After graduating from Fond du Lac High School, she was employed as a switchboard operator and later as office supervisor in the Clinical Laboratory Department, retiring after 45 years of service in 1984. Currently a member of Holy Family Parish, she was a former member of St. Patrick's Church and sang in its choir for over 50 years. She also sang in the Fond du Lac Women's Chorus an also the Oratorio Chorus. She was a tutor for the Fond du Lac Literacy Program for several years. Surviving is a sister, Patricia Ann Sawyer of Fond du Lac, two brothers, John D. Secor of Greenville, MI, and Thomas J. (Jeanne) Secor of Fond du Lac, and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, three sisters, Frances Murphy, Margaret Mary Secor, and Maureen Secor, a brother, Willard Secor, a sister-in-law, Fern Secor, and a brother-in-law, Michael Murphy, preceded her in death.
Visitation for Eileen D. Secor will be on Friday, October 15, 2010, from 9 to 11 AM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Liturgy of The Word for Christian Burial services will be at 11 AM at the funeral home. Deacon Ricardo Munoz will officiate.
