Elaine Borst

Elaine Borst, age 75, of 584 Evans Drive, Fond du Lac, died Saturday, January 15, 2011 at St. Agnes Hospital following a battle with cancer. She was born on September 26, 1935 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Gustave and Alma (Miller) Burkhardt. On June 18, 1955 she married Wayne Borst in Oshkosh. Elaine had been a member at Church of Our Saviour Lutheran Church. She also had volunteered at the Salvation Army.SURVIVORS: two sons, Geoffrey (Susie) Borst of Mequon, WI, Gregory (Nancy) Borst of Fond du Lac, two daughters, Annette Ruzicka of Plymouth, MN, Renee Nix of Fond du Lac, six grandchildren, Rita Borst of Fond du Lac, Valerie (fiancé Jason Dill) Borst of Fond du Lac, Elizabeth (John) Heibler of Milwaukee, Jennifer (Zack Byrne) Borst of Milwaukee, Laura Borst of Chicago, Tommy Nix of Fond du Lac, two great-grandchildren, Joseph Borst and Alexander Dill both of Fond du Lac, one brother, George Burkhardt of Fond du Lac, two sisters, Anna O'Malley of South Elgin, IL, and Beverly (James) Lepinski of Fond du Lac, sister in law, Dawn Burkhardt of Fond du Lac, former husband, Wayne (JoAnn) Borst of Oshkosh, and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Edward, Lawrence, and Frank.



VISITATION: Friday, January 21, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Friday, January 21, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with the Reverend Robert Rosenberg officiating. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery.Elaine always gave to others, and put others before herself. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
