Elaine E. Friess

Elaine E. Friess, 86 of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, November 22, 2012 at Woodland's Senior Park where she had been a resident since 2011. She was born in Fond du Lac on August 27, 1926 the daughter of Ernest and Minnie Heruth Bohlman. Elaine was a graduate of Fond du Lac Senior High School. On October 25, 1947 she married Wilbur "Bill" L. Friess at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church. Wilbur preceded her in death on January 4, 2011. She was a life-long member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church. Elaine enjoyed bowling, cross word puzzles, the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs.SURVIVORS: nieces and nephews, Dan (Phyllis) Gilmore, Waukesha, Sandra (Bob) Zickau, Arizona and Scott Pickart of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Tim Friess, two sisters, Gert Gilmore and Helen Pickart.



VISITATION: At Elaine's request there will be no visitation. FUNERAL: Private family services will be held at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park at a later date.Reverend Shari Routh will officiate. Entombment will be in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum.
