Elaine M. Miller

Elaine M. Miller, 76, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born October 13, 1940 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of William and Gladys Pinno Schumacher. Elaine was a graduate of St. Mary’s Springs Class of 1959. She worked as a CNA and was also a church organist at various churches. Elaine volunteered with many organizations in the area. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and her music liturgy.

She is survived by six children, Ronald Schumacher of Cottage Grove, Jack P. Miller, Robert Miller, Susan Denslow, Nancy Dawson, and Roger Miller, all of Fond du Lac; five grandchildren, Stefanie (Travis) Jones, Max (Sarah) Schumacher, Leah Denslow, Michael Denslow, and Andrea Dawson; four great grandchildren; one brother, Anthony (Lenore) Schumacher of Fond du Lac; nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Rose Shaw; a son-in-law, Michael Dawson; a grandson, Mitchell Dawson.

Per Elaine’s wishes her body has been donated to medical research. A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 5:00 PM on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Ascension Lutheran Church. The memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Ascension Lutheran Church. Burial will be held at a later date in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in Elaine’s name.
