Elaine B. Miller

Elaine B. Miller, age 93, of Redgranite, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was born on April 20, 1931, the daughter of August and Ida (Pauls) Klebs. Elaine attended Oakfield High School. On February 19, 1955, she married Virgil H. Miller at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Oakfield. He preceded her in death on December 8, 2000. Elaine worked at Giddings & Lewis for over 30 years, retiring in 1992. She was a member of Church of Peace in Fond du Lac. Elaine enjoyed playing softball and bowling in her younger years. She was an avid sports fan but especially loved the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers. Elaine liked playing cards and going to the casino. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Vicki (Bernard) Giebel, Bradley (Deborah) Miller, Sherri (Thomas) Gonzales, and Brian Miller; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Peggy Lee; her siblings, Mildred, Edwin, Edmund, Elmer, and Eugene; her in-laws, Orville, Eleanor, Herman, Martin, Edna, Virginia, and Lola; and three step-sisters.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 2, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 4:00 PM. Cremation will follow the service. Interment will take place at a later date at the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
