Elaine R. Zivkovich, 87, of Fond du Lac, was reunited with the love of her life, George on Friday, April 6, 2018. She was born on June 10, 1930 in West Allis to the late Frederick and Esther Schultz. Elaine married George Zivkovich on September 24, 1949 at St. John’s rectory in Rubicon, WI. She was an avid gardener, loved doing word search puzzles, crocheting, sewing, and putting puzzles together.
She is survived by seven children, Marianne (Jim) Hayward, Bruce (Linda) Zivkovich, Judy (Terry) Rentmeister, Gary Zivkovich, Cheryl (Rod) Dobbs, Greg Zivkovich, and Steve Zivkovich, all of Fond du Lac. She is further survived by 19 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; her brother, Robert (Evelyn) Schultz; her sister, Nancy Berghoefer; and two sisters-in-law, Anne (Lloyd) Thelen and Katy (Jim) Hennes. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; an infant daughter, Karen; her son, Glenn Zivkovich; a granddaughter; a grandson; two great grandchildren; and her brother, Eugene Schultz.
The visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Monday, April 9, 2018 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Rubicon.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 9, 2018 St. John’s Catholic Church, W1170 Rome Road, Rubicon. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
The family extends a special thank you to Mona, Deb, Kim, and Agnesian Hospice for the care and compassion given to Elaine and her family.
