Eldora B. Alby

Eldora B. Alby, age 99, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, June 11, 2018 at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born on May 2, 1919, in Thief River Falls, MN, the daughter of Edward and Bella (Klemetson) Hogenson. On June 4, 1939 she married Irwin L. Alby in Thief River Falls, MN. He preceded her in death in 1979.



Survivors include one son, Richard Alby of Fond du Lac; four grandchildren, Deanna (Holger) Sommerfeld of Milwaukee, Karin White of Pewaukee, Andrea (John) McConnell of OH, Chad (Alisha) Crabtree of Houston, TX; seven great-grandchildren, Robyn and Brendan White; Finn and Caroline McConnell, Vaughn, Reese, and Emma Crabtree; Gladys Hogenson of Thief River Falls, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Irwin; one daughter, Shirley Crabtree on January 23, 2008; brothers, Milan, Lloyd, and Ernest Hogenson; sisters, Gladys Peterson Toole, and Hermina Kopp.



Visitation will take place on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 6:30 PM. Cremation has taken place and interment will take place at Ledgeview Memorial Park.
