Eleanor I. Everson, 85, formerly of 4 North Seymour Street, died Monday, September 18, 2006 at Hospice Home of Hope where she had been a resident for the past 14 months. She was born in Lamartine on August 27, 1921 the daughter of Wynard and Eva Barnes Pixley. On November 20, 1945 she married Milbert L. Everson in Milwaukee. Milbert preceded her in death on June 21, 1972. Eleanor was a life-long resident of Fond du Lac County. She attended Holy Family Sacred Heart "“Parish, and was a former member of the Sweet Adeline Singers. She enjoyed crocheting, and crafts.Survivors include four children, Lance Everson, Fond du Lac, Michael (Dixie) Everson, Oshkosh, Laurie (Joe) Cuadra, Oshkosh, Mathieu Everson, Fond du Lac; thirteen grandchildren, Michael St. Louis, Joseph St. Louis, Zachariah Peterson, Jessica (Craig) Habeck, Miranda (Nathan) Mecklenburg, Sarah Everson, Cody Stewart, Casey Stewart, Cayla Stewart, Jamie Everson, Zachariah Everson, Christopher Cuadra, and Matthew Cuadra; eleven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Elsie (Leonard) O'Laughlin, Fond du Lac, Eleanoris Lohse, Fond du Lac, Ethel Rumbuc, Fond du Lac; one brother-in-law, Russell Kuehl, Theresa. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Suzanne, one brother and two sisters.
Friends may call on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 from 4-7PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A Liturgy of the Word service will be held at 7PM on Wednesday at the funeral home with Deacon Richardo Munoz officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional services with inurnment in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are requested to Hospice Home of Hope in Eleanor's memory.Eleanor's family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Hospice Home of Hope for their gentle care, love and kindness shown to their mother. They truly kept a song in their mother's heart.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
