Elsie MielkeElsie A. Mielke, 84, formerly of Marblehead and also formerly of 285 S. Marr St. died Thursday, April 28, 2005 at Encore Senior Living. Elsie was born April 26, 1921 in Fond du Lac, a daughter of William and Alma Peitz Klatt. On April 18, 1942 she married Raymond W. Mielke at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on December 20, 1980.Elsie was employed with the Eden Canning Factory as a seasonal employee and later was employed as a janitor at the canning company. She loved cooking, playing cards, babysitting, counting pennies, stuffed animals, picking and enjoying her raspberry and strawberry patch, game shows, dancing, and dogs.Survivors include six children; Richard (Catherine) Mielke of Fond du Lac, Darwin (Lisa) Mielke of Fond du Lac, Sandra (Ronald) Straub of Campbellsport, Jean (Craig) Gavin of Kewaskum, Franklin (special friend Cindy Breslow) Mielke of Fond du Lac, Nancy (fiancée Dean Flitter) Mielke of Lomira, twelve grandchildren; Christine (Michael) Schmitz of Oakfield, Roger Mielke of Fond du Lac, Darwin (fiancée Sheri Pooch) Mielke, Diane (Dan) Westphal of Fond du Lac, Tina Mielke of Fond du Lac, David (Penny) Mielke of St. Paul, MN, Gerald (fiancée Tracee Loper) Mielke of Fond du Lac, Ashley Mielke of Fond du Lac, Kelly Mielke of Fond du Lac, Joey (fiancée Monica Green) Mielke of North Fond du Lac, Jamie (Jamie Jo) Mielke of Fond du Lac, Theresa Gavin of Kewaskum, one step grandchild; Jason Tetzlaff of Fond du Lac,16 great grandchildren; Andrea and Jonathan Schmitz of Oakfield, Heather Mielke of Fond du Lac, Julia and Joshua Mielke of Cambridge, Andrew, Jayden, and Devin Westphal of Fond du Lac, Zachary, Madylin, and Connor Mielke of St. Paul, MN, Alyxes Loper-Mielke of Fond du Lac, Brianna Mielke of North Fond du Lac, Cody and Colin Mielke Fond du Lac, and McKenzie Gavin Hagedorn of Kewaskum. She was preceded in death by parents, husband, father and mother-in-law; Frank and Mathilda Muench Mielke, one son; Alan on March 3, 1976, one daughter-in-law; Marge Enfelt Mielke on November 3, 1993, two sisters; Eleanor Schwartz and Bernice Mielke, brother-in-laws; Leslie Schwartz, Harris Mielke, Clarence Mielke, Oscar Mielke, and two sisters-in-law; Ella and Senta Mielke.



Visitation for Mrs. Mielke will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2005 from 1-4 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2005 at 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Reverend Dr. Martin Koehler will officiate. Burial will be held on Monday at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Forest.
