Elverda M. Hare

Elverda M. Hare, 92 of Fond du Lac, passed away with her family at her side on Wednesday, March 6, 2012 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. She was born on September 22, 1919 in Eldorado, WI the daughter of Charles and Minnie Hensel Koepke. On June 19, 1943 she married Elwyn "Mike" Hare in Eldorado. They enjoyed their 68 years together. Elverda was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Elverda enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing. She also liked watching the Brewer and Packer games.Elverda retired from Wells Manufacturing after 31 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma and friend.SURVIVORS: She is survived by her husband Mike, Fond du Lac, one son Richard and friend Vanessa of New Madrid, MO one daughter-in-law Kellie Hare of Fond du Lac, one granddaughter Megan Hare of Fond du Lac, one brother Aubrey (Myram) Koepke, Eldorado and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Charles Koepke and his wife Ester, one sister Celesta Commo and her husband Bernard, and one niece Judy Shelter.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Saturday, March 10,2012 from 10 AM to 12:00 PM at Ascension Lutheran Church, 901 County Trunk V, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 12:00 PM at Ascension Lutheran Church. Reverend Jeff Blain will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.Memorials in Elverda's name may be directed to Ascension Lutheran Church Building Fund.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
