Elwood D. "Sap" Severson

Elwood D. "Sap" Severson, age 61, of W6910 Shady Brook Circle, Fond du Lac, died October 23, 2005 in Billings, Montana. He was born on July 6, 1944 in Randolph in Columbia County the son of Alvin and Lorraine Froelich Severson. On September 9, 1990 he married Kathleen Koval in Dillon, SC. Sap enjoyed helping anyone he could, and loved talking to anyone who would listen. He was a truck driver and drove for D and G Transportation of Germantown, WI. He was a mechanic who loved working on gas and diesel engines. He was race car driver in the 1960's and again in the 90's racing at WIR in Kaukauna. He loved his family and racing.SURVIVORS: his wife Kathleen of Fond du Lac, four children, Ronald (Michelle) Severson of Markesan, Pamela (Randall) Roeder of Markesan, Todd Severson of Van Dyne, and Dale Severson of Fond du Lac, two step-daughters, Dana (Greg) Hatch of Middleton, Sara (fiance Justin) Then of Fond du Lac, grandchildren, Travis, Troy, and Holley Severson, Dustin Schwandt, Dakota and Desiree Roeder, and Alisha Miller, five brothers, one sister, and their families, and numerous trucking friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.



VISITATION: Friday, October, 28, 2005 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Saturday, October 29, 2005 Visitation from 9:00am to the time of the sevice at 10:00 A.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with the Reverend John Simon officiating. Burial will follow at Estabrooks Cemetery. He was deeply loved and will be sadly missed by his wife, his children, and his friends.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
