Emma H. Haase

EMMA H. HAASEEmma H. Haase, age 95, formerly of Rosendale, died Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home where she has been a resident since 1997. Emma was born on July 30, 1909 in Milladore, WI in Wood County, the daughter of David and Emma Pinno Richardson. She married Walter L. Thode on July 27, 1935 in Waukegan, IL. He preceded her in death in 1982. In 1985 she married Harvey Haase at Bethel Church-United Church of Christ, Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death in 1988. Emma was an elementary school teacher in the rural schools in Wood County, WI. She was a former member of the Church of Peace-United Church of Christ and Bethel Church-United Church of Christ. She taught Sunday school for many years at Bethel Church. SURVIVORS: one son, Nicholas W. Thode of Eden, one daughter Christine (Larry) Cooper of Rosendale, three granddaughters, Lisa Ann (Paul) Burke of Green Bay, Elizabeth (Bill) Pickart of Juneau, Rebecca (Nate) Kehow of Dubuque, IA, one grandson, Jefferson (Brenda) Cooper of Milwaukee, great-grandchildren, Makayla Cooper, Jay T. Cooper both of Milwaukee, Kaitlin Pickart of Juneau, Anya Pilar Burke of Green Bay. She was preceded in death by her husbands, four sisters, Rosella Roth, Maymay Hetze, Clara Bebow, Margaret Beltz, three brothers, George, Arnold, and William Richardson.



VISITATION: Thursday, August 12, 2004 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Friday, August 13, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev. Dr. Martin Koehler officiating. Friends may call on Friday at the funeral home from 12 noon until the time of services. Burial will follow at Estabrooks Cemetery.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
