Enos A. Silah

Enos A. Silah, 93, formerly of 608 Western Avenue, died Thursday, March 2, 2006, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home where he had been a resident for the past 6½ years. He was born June 12, 1912, in Fond du Lac, the son of John and Esther Faris Silah. Enos was a member of Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church, and was formerly employed by Giddings & Lewis for over 30 years, retiring in 1976. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council #664.Surviving are two sisters, Betty (Allen) Kolander of Hanford, CA, and Darlene Silah of Fond du Lac, a brother, Robert (Kathy) Silah, US Navy (Ret.) of Tampa, FL, twenty nieces and nephews, 31 great nieces and nephews, and seven great great nieces and nephews. Two sisters-in-law, Betty Silah and Mary Lou Bartelt, both of Fond du Lac, also survive him. His parents, two brothers, Richard and Mitchell, two sisters, Hilda Seroogy and Elaine Kuether, two brothers-in-law, Alfred Seroogy and Carl Kuether, and a sister-in-law, Helen Silah, preceded him in death.



Visitation for Mr. Enos A. Silah will be on Monday, March 6, 2006, from 9:00 to 12:00 noon at Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12 noon on Monday at the church. The Rev. Patrick Heppe of Holy Family Parish will officiate and inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Cremation has taken place. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family requests that memorials be directed to Holy Family Parish, Hospice Hope, or the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home.
