Eric A. Ballard

Eric A. Ballard, 39, of Fond du Lac, truly earned his Angel wings on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Hospice Home of Hope surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 12, 1975 in Fond du Lac, the son of Dale and Maggie Faber Ballard. Eric graduated from Goodrich High School Class of 1994. On July 14, 2001 he married Stephanie L. Pitz in Oelwein, IA. Eric was previously employed at RB Royal in Fond du Lac. He enjoyed bowling, softball, WWE, watching the Green Bay Packers, and traveling. Eric courageously fought illness, while selflessly thinking of others. He faced each hurdle with optimism and stayed positive until the end.



He is survived by his wife, Stephanie; his son, Luckson; his mother, Maggie Ballard of Fond du Lac; his mother-in-law, Lois Pitz of Oelwein, IA; his uncles and aunt, Eugene “Pee Wee” Pfalzgraf of Oakfield, Pat Howard of Fond du Lac, and Charles and Ali Faber of Milwaukee; many special cousins, in-laws, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Ballard; his paternal grandparents, Alvin and Gladys Ballard; his maternal grandparents, Edward and Helena Faber; his father-in-law, Gerald Pitz; his aunts, Beverly Howard and Nancy Pfalzgraf; and his uncle, William Ballard.



The visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Wednesday from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Holy Family Parish, 271 4th Street Way, Fond du Lac. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.



A memorial fund will be established in Eric’s name for his son, Luckson’s college fund.
