Ernest L. Tucker

Ernest L. Tucker, 67, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at his residence. He was born March 25, 1945, in Richland, WI, the son of George and Vesta J. Schoonover Tucker. On August 6, 1987, he married Josephine O. Nalasa in the Philippines. Mr. Tucker was employed by Mercury Marine for 44 years as a machinist, retiring in 2007. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting arrowheads, E-Bay, penny auctions, and playing poker where his nickname was "˜The Hammer." Surviving is his wife, Josephine, a son, Kevin (Erin) Tucker of Campbellsport, six daughters, Ginger (Jim) Brath of Lomira, Wendy (Fiancé' Phil Curry) Tucker of White Fish Bay, Tami Tucker, Crista Tucker, Shanelle Tucker, and Kayla Tucker, all of Fond du Lac. He is further survived by five grandchildren, Alex, Mitchell, Kailin, Ezra, and Liam, two sisters, Judy Goschey of Kewaskum and Karen Tucker of Fond du Lac, a nephew, Gregory Goschey, and a niece, Sherry Goschey. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Tommie.



Visitation for Ernest L. Tucker will be on Monday, April 23, 2012, from 3 to 5 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Liturgy of The Word services will be at 5 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
