Ervin A. Ringhand

Ervin A. Ringhand, age 92, died Friday, May 26, 2006 at St. Francis Home. He was born on April 23, 1914 in Oshkosh the son of Herman and Barbara (Krenzer) Ringhand. On September 7, 1941 he married Virginia Paulin at Church of Peace-United Church of Christ, Fond du Lac. She preceded him in death on July 21, 2001. Ervin was self-employed in the outdoor amusement business. He was a member of the Church of Peace. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and reading books especially adventure stories. Ervin took great pride in all of his work, and he was a man of great determination, strong will, and good morals.SURVIVORS: his son, Darrell (Marcia) Ringhand of Eden, one sister in law, Florence Ringhand of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, three brothers, Herman, Harvey, and Arlie, and three sisters, Mamie Zacharias, Hildegard Crabb, and Alice Young.



VISITATION: Tuesday, May 30, 2006 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with the Reverend Sharon Stier officiating. Entombment will follow at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum. Friends may call on Wednesday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the family or to St. Francis Home.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
