Esther M. Rueping

Esther M. Rueping, 90, of 401 Vine Street, died Sunday, December 10, 2006, at her residence. She was born September 14, 1916, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Albert and Marie Bluemke Krause. Mrs. Rueping was a 1933 graduate of Winnebago Lutheran Academy. On May 20, 1944, she married Philip Rueping in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on October 7, 1966. Esther was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aide. She was a volunteer at the Galloway House, and enjoyed playing cards and doing craft work.Surviving are three brothers, Gilbert (Lillian) Krause of Hibbing, MN, Wallace Krause and Arman (Virginia) Krause, both of Fond du Lac, six nephews, four nieces, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Her parents, husband, a brother, Norman Krause, a sister-in-law, Wilma Krause, two nieces, Rose Sweet and Elizabeth Krause, and two nephews, David and Mark Krause, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Esther M. Rueping will be on Thursday, December 14, 2006, from 9 to 11 am at Faith Lutheran Church, 55 N. Prairie Road. Funeral services will be at 11 am on Thursday at the church. The Rev. Joel Gaertner will officiate and burial will be in Rienzi Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to either Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church or Winnebago Lutheran Academy. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
