Ethel E. (Shady) Treleven

Ethel E. (Shady) Treleven, 86, of Fond du Lac and a resident of Manor Care Health Services for the past four years, died Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at the facility. She was born September 10, 1924 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Ernest and Elsie Floyd Coon. On August 14, 1944 she married Norbert C. Shady in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on December 31, 1974. On July 29, 1978, she married Harold Treleven in Fond du Lac. Harold preceded her in death on January 23, 1984. Ethel worked at Waupun Memorial Hospital and Leutynes Bakery in Waupun. She was a member of First Baptist Church, sang in the church choir, and served on the Dorcas Society, Diaconate Board, and Seekers Fellowship Group. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and gardening. SURVIVORS: a daughter Sandy (Ray) McClintock, Dayton, Ohio, two sons Carl (Marilynn) Shady, VanDyne, Phil Shady, Waupun, five grandchildren Carla (Dan) Roeder, Mike McClintock, Richard (Tammy) Shady, Jeff McClintock, Corey Shady, three step-grandchildren Randy (Amy) Payne, Chanse Schomber, Dalton Payne, eleven great-grandchildren, and a special friend Irv Opperman of Fond du Lac. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, two sisters Edna and Ruth, and an infant brother.



SERVICES: Friends may call on Monday, October 18, 2010, from 9:30-11 AM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held, Monday, October 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Larry Witt officiating. Burial will follow in Rienzi Cemetery.
