Ethel L. Wightman

ETHEL L. WIGHTMANEthel L. Wightman, age 88, of 361 W. Division St, Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at her residence. She was born on December 8, 1916 in Rosendale Center, the daughter of Archie C. and Anna A. McLaughlin Morgan. On January 21, 1939 she married Harry Wightman in Ripon. She was a Fond du Lac resident since her marriage in 1939. Ethel was a graduate of Ripon High School. She worked at Wells Manufacturing for thirty-seven years retiring in 1983. She enjoyed bowling and was in leagues at West Side Lanes for fifty years.SURVIVORS: her husband, Harry Wightman of Fond du Lac, one son, Dave (Sandy) Wightman of Fond du Lac, two grandsons, Eric Wightman of Milwaukee, Doug (Meghan) Wightman of Gurnee, IL, two great-granddaughters, Sydney and Alexis. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, four sisters, one infant sister.



VISITATION: Friday, November 25, 2005 from 4-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Friday, November 25, 2005 at 7:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the services with inurnment to take place at Avoca Cemetery, Oakfield.The family wishes to say thank you to all of the special friends and the watchful neighborhood who have helped and looked out for Ethel and Harry.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
