Eugene E. Anderson

Eugene E. Anderson, age 96, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, in Ripon, WI. He was born on February 10, 1928, in Milwaukee, the son of Wallace and Mayme (Bass) Anderson. On October 11, 1947, he married Faith Weyland. She preceded him in death on January 15, 2013. Eugene worked for Wisconsin Bell until his retirement on April 16, 1986. After retiring Eugene fulfilled his lifelong dream of moving to Green Lake, WI, from Milwaukee. In Milwaukee he was a member of Redemption Ev. Lutheran Church and upon moving to Green Lake he became a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Green Lake where he was very active. Eugene enjoyed wintering at his Florida home.

Survivors include two sons, Dale (Judy) Anderson, and James (Sue) Anderson; grandchildren, Brent Anderson, and Kristi (Rocco) Lazaris; great-grandchildren, Lorelei Metzger, Ever and Traen Lazaris; sister, Judith (Ron) Mrowinski; close friends and Green Lake neighbors, Leo Wehner, and Gail and Mike Anderson; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Faith, two grandsons, Chris Anderson and Kyle Anderson; sisters, Delores (Bob) Slottke, Virginia (James) Thanos, and Mary Henderson.

 Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A short service will follow the visitation at 3:00 PM. Cremation will follow the service and interment will take place at a later date at Valhalla Memorial Park, Milwaukee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Eugene’s name may be directed to Peace Lutheran Church, 440 Lake St, Green Lake, WI, 54941.
