Eugene E. Klebs

Eugene E. Klebs, 79, of Rosendale, went to live eternally with his Lord and Savior Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Hospice Home of Hope. He was born May 8, 1935 in Fond du Lac, the son of August and Ida Pauls Klebs. He was a graduate of Oakfield High School. On May 28, 1988 he married Joan C. Braun at Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale and she preceded him in death on December 28, 2008. Eugene drove truck for Sadoff Iron and Metal for 22 years, retiring in 1997. In his later years Eugene enjoyed working part time at Festival Foods. He was a member of St. Stephen’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rogersville. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved reminiscing about old times.



He is survived by his son, Steven Klebs, Fond du Lac; one sister, Elaine Miller, Fond du Lac; two special step children, Terri Christopher and Steven Wendland, both of Maryland; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joan; three brothers, Edwin (Doris) Klebs, Elmer (Betty) Klebs, Edmund Klebs; one sister, Mildred (Walter) Pollack; two infant sisters; one brother-in-law, Virgil Miller; five step sisters, Edna deHartog, Esther Jacquet, Elsie Hoyer, Etta Prust, and Elfa Brieno.



The visitation will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 pm on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at St. Stephen’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, N5680 Towne Road, Rosendale, WI. The funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at St. Stephen’s Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Kimberly Stowell officiating. Burial will take place in Rogersville Cemetery.
