Eugene I. Wohlfeil

Eugene “Gene” I. Wohlfeil, 83, of West Allis and formerly of Fond du Lac, died peacefully Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Francis House in South Milwaukee. He was born May 10, 1932 in Almond, WI, the son of Walter and Leona Tews Wohlfeil. Gene married Lillian Olson on December 20, 1952 and she preceded him in death in 1989. He married Nancy Wing on November 24, 1989 and she preceded him in death in 2013. Gene was a semi truck driver for 33 years and retired from Fore Way Express in 1993. He was a member of Wisconsin Teamsters Local 200 and Fond du Lac Eagles Aerie #270. He enjoyed playing cribbage, shooting pool, auto mechanics, dancing and loved spending time with family and friends.



He was a father to ten children; grandfather to fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; brother to three brothers and one sister.



At Gene’s request there will be no visitation or funeral services. Cremation has taken place.
