Eunice A. Heaney

Eunice A. Heaney, 93, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, February 14, 2021. She was born in Fond du Lac on November 21, 1927 to Anton and Lydia (Durben) Birschbach. Eunice was a 1945 graduate of Fond du Lac Senior High School and attended Marquette University. She was employed by the Fond du Lac School District as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction’s secretary retiring in 1994.



Survivors include her three children, Gerald “Jerry” (Suzanne) Heaney of Lynden, Wash., Carol (Michael) Trepanier of Fond du Lac, and Maureen “Mickey” (Michael) Brunette of West Bend; seven grandchildren, Andrew Heaney, Thomas (Daria) Heaney, Stephanie (Kevin) Fessler, Suzanne (Nick) Christian, Thomas Brunette, Robert Brunette, and Maria Brunette; and two great-grandchildren, Vincent Fessler and Miles Christian. She was preceded in death by her parents; a great-granddaughter, Caroline Fessler; and sister and brother-in-law, Thelma and Emmert Meinke.



A private family service followed by entombment took place Monday, March 15, 2021 at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
