Evelyn A. Dunisch

Evelyn A. Dunisch, 87, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at St. Francis Terrace. She was born on July 15, 1935, in Theresa, the daughter of Elmer and Ester (Hoephner) Zimdahl. On November 2, 1963, Evelyn married Gerald Dunisch at Campbellsport Evangelical Lutheran Church. Evelyn and Gerald farmed in the Eden area for over 60 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and also the Ladies’ Aid at church. Evelyn was a foster parent for 13 years. She loved animals, puzzles, bingo, and ice cream.

She is survived by her brother, Elsmer Zimdahl; and well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Ester; husband, Gerald; and son, Roy Dunisch.

The visitation will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church, W494 Elm Street, Campbellsport, WI 53010. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM at the church. Burial will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials can be made in Evelyn’s name to Trinity Lutheran Church and School.
