Mrs. Evelyn A. WalgenbachMrs. Evelyn A. Walgenbach, 88, of 267 Candy Lane, died Friday, June 24, 2005, at her residence. She was born August 24, 1916, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Arthur and Helen Rauls Genrich. On June 26, 1940, she married Edward M. Walgenbach at St. Joseph's Church in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on August 9, 1990. Mrs. Walgenbach was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Church, and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Women. For several years, she worked with her husband as a bookkeeper at E.M. Walgenbach Company. She and her mother volunteered for many years at Maple Manor Nursing Home, currently ManorCare Nursing Home. Evelyn was a very devout and faithful woman who would always care for the needs of others. Surviving are two daughters, Lynn (Ron) Spanbauer of Stevens Point, and Mary Walgenbach (Steve Sztukowski) of Fond du Lac, two sons, James (Teresa) Walgenbach of Fond du Lac, and Robert (Lori) Walgenbach of Green Bay, nine grandchildren, Philip (Julie) Walgenbach, Amy Walgenbach, and Ryan (Hope) Walgenbach, Ron (Cindy) Spanbauer, Steven Spanbauer, and Trisha (Aaron Shultis) Spanbauer, Becky Walgenbach, Beth Anne Walgenbach, and Ann Marie Sztukowski, and six great-grandchildren, Jacob, Kayla, and Haley Walgenbach, Payton Walgenbach, and Christopher and Danielle Spanbauer. She is further survived by two sisters-in-law, Frances Pomplin of Winterhaven, FL, and Cecelia (Harold) Loche of Milwaukee. Her parents, husband, and a brother-in-law, Raleigh Pomplin, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Evelyn A. Walgenbach will be on Friday, July 1, 2005, from 10:00 to 11:30 am at Sacred Heart Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 am on Friday, at the church. The Rev. Patrick Heppe will officiate. Cremation has taken place. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
