Evelyn E. Stevens

Evelyn E. Stevens, age 92, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, March 25, 2018 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on November 11, 1925, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Alfred and Edna (Jones) Becker. On August 23, 1947 she married Robert H. Stevens at Church of Peace in Fond du Lac. Evelyn worked at Infant Socks for seventeen years as a payroll clerk and then at Badger Liquor in accounting for twenty-three years.



Survivors include nieces and nephews, Susan McVey, Sheila Collins, Linda (Terry) Schuppe, Tom (Mary) Swingen, Dan (Patty) Wolf, Dale Wolf, Barry Collins; many great nieces and nephews; one great-great-niece; special friends, Karen and Leonard, and Joanne and Cindy. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert on December 15, 1985.



Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 4:30 until 6:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Burial will take place on Friday at Estabrooks Cemetery.



Evelyn will be deeply missed. She was a generous, spirited person who loved her family and friends, who rarely missed a chance to travel-or a bingo game. She was “Evie”. And she will be in our hearts forever.
