Ewald O. Feuerhammer

December 25, 1919 — March 31, 2008

Ewald Feuerhammer, age 88, formerly of 617 E. Scott St, Fond du Lac, died Monday, March 31, 2008 at Harbor House. He was born on December 25, 1919 in Campbellsport the son of John and Celia (Hicken) Feuerhammer. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the United States Army from 1942 to 1945. After his honorable discharge he settled in Fond du Lac. On March 23, 1946 he married Lorraine Shulfer. She preceded him in death on July 25, 2006. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Ewald worked in maintenance for the Fond du Lac School District for over thirty years. SURVIVIORS: one son, William R. Feuerhammer of Fond du Lac, one sister, Ella Weddig of Hartford, one brother, Alvin Feuerhammer of Fond du Lac, and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lorraine, an infant daughter, daughter Carol Ann in 1966, two brothers, Norman and Ernest, one sister, Frieda, one sister in law, Erma, one brother in law, Arthur Weddig.



VISITATION: Thursday, April 3, 2008 from 12 noon until 1:00 P.M. at Redeemer Lutheran Church. FUNERAL: Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Redeemer Lutheran Church with the Reverend Nathan Retzlaff officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional services. Interment of the cremains will take place at Ledgeview Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Redeemer Lutheran Church or Winnebago Lutheran Academy.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
